Computer Skills are a must have in today’s modern world: They are needed to have access to high quality education, to find employment, and to do one’s job efficiently. We want to bring computer skills to the people on Pemba.
We are registered as a Continuing Education Center under the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training and provide computer courses in Konde and in Limbani, Wete.
In our Continuing Education Center in Konde we offer a 12-week, basic computing course for everybody. This course is designed for beginners, and includes an introduction to the desktop computer, computer hardware and software, proper keyboarding techniques, and basic computer applications, such as: Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Publisher, Internet Explorer and Emailing Systems.
